Our Privacy Commitment

This statement, along with our terms of use and any other referenced documents, explains what personal information we collect about you, how and why we use it, who we share it with, and how we protect your privacy. This statement is separate from our client agreement with you.  

Please read this carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal information and how we will handle it.

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act”), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), PCI-DSS, and other European data protection laws, ISUN – Immigration Support Network Ltd is the data controller. These purposes allow ISUN – Immigration Support Network Ltd to ask for your consent to use your information for communication, educational, and marketing activities (GDPR 1). We will not use your information for these activities without your explicit consent.

Your marital status, family, lifestyle, or social circumstances and other relevant personal matters. XII. Information about criminal convictions or offenses. c) Identification and background information: Provided by you or collected as part of our client onboarding processes. d) Information about your transactions, including your payment details: When you pay for our services. e) The communications you exchange with us: When you contact ISUN – Immigration Support Network Ltd or we contact you. f) Technical information: Such as information from your visits to our website or related to electronic materials and communications we send you. This includes when you browse our website or interact with our communications. g) Information you provide for meetings and events: Including access and dietary requirements when you register for our events. h) Your social media account ID: When you interact with us on social media or when we target social media posts to you. i) Your posts and messages on social media directed to us: When you interact with us on social media. j) Your feedback: When you respond to our feedback requests or participate in our client surveys. k) Any other information relating to you that you may provide to us.  

Change of Purpose

We will only use your personal information for the reasons listed above, unless we reasonably believe we need to use it for another purpose that is compatible with the original purpose. If we need to use your personal information for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and explain the legal basis for doing so.  

Please note that we may process your personal information without your knowledge or consent where required or permitted by law.  

Sensitive Personal Information

Information that reveals your racial or ethnic origin, physical or mental health, religious beliefs, or alleged criminal offenses or convictions is considered “sensitive personal data” under the UK Data Protection Act 1998 and other data protection laws. We do not collect this type of information through our website.

Determining the terms of our client agreement. III. Keeping you informed and providing updates. IV. Providing you with advice. V. Creating a client profile in our database. VI. Managing the termination of any client relationship.  
  2. b) To Communicate with You and Manage Our Relationship We will need to contact you by email and/or phone to deliver our services and meet our contractual obligations. We may also need to contact you for administrative or operational reasons.

Please note that these communications are not for marketing purposes, and you will continue to receive them even if you opt out of marketing communications.

 

We may also use your personal information if we contact you after you have sent us a request, filled out a web form on our website, or contacted us on social media.

The following security and governance measures are excluded from your right to be forgotten:

  • Encrypted system backups, kept for up to 10 years.
  • Our anti-spam and email gateway. We keep email archives for security reasons, and your information may be stored in this archive. Access to this gateway is limited to designated data controllers at ISUN – Immigration Support Network Ltd.

All recorded calls are securely stored, and access is limited to authorised personnel only. Call recordings are kept for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, after which they will be securely deleted.
